Orli Bein and Nora Khoury will talk about their work toward Peace in Palestine/Israel from
their respective experiences in partnership. Nora is Palestinian-American and Orli is Jewish
Israeli/American. Nora has a B.A. in International Relations from San Francisco State University.
She is a professional organizer and has worked in bettering relationships between diverse groups of participants.

Orli is working on a Master's in Middle Eastern Folklore at U.C. Berkeley. She currently works
at SFSU Hillel [now San Francisco DIrector for The New Israel Fund - ed].
Orli and Nora have co-ordinated dialogues at S.F.S.U. working on bridging the divide
between the Palestinian and Jewish students. They will be using techniques that they have learned
from the Palestinian-Jewish Living Room Dialogue Groups formed by Libby and Len Traubman.
