offerings
Monday Night Movies
Two short films and a 40-minute Oscar-nominated
documentary from Spiritual Cinema Circle.
Flight of the Stone - 15 min: A whimsical round-the-world
flight by a thrown cobblestone.
Gregor Greatest Invention - 15 min: At 18, Gregor may not be your
average teenager (he spends his time tinkering with inventions in the barn)
but his love for his grandmother is solid. In German with English
subtitles.
The Collector of Bedford Street - 40 min: Nominated for Best
Documentary in 2003, this film tells Larry Selman's story in the West Village in
NYC. Larry is a fundraiser, animal lover and a friendly voice who lives
with a mental disability that leaves him and others concerned about his
future once his elderly Uncle Murray passes on. An inspiring tale of
how a few people can make a huge difference by opening their hearts and
focusing their energy within their own community to help a friend in
need.
