Co-founder of the Odd Monday Series, author-composer Ramón Sender always has been involved with 'sacred musical spaces' and, in the Sixties, with a commune whose owner attempted in vain to deed it to God. Sonoma County voided the deed and bulldozed it three times for health and building code violations. Despite his lengthy urban exile, he remains convinced that everyone should be free to practice 'Nesting in Nature' therapy by building their own home, be it a shack, a hovel or a tree stump. No matter how humble (and non-conformist), there is no place like home, especially if you made it yourself. He will screen photos of various now-bulldozed structures, and read his proposal for the opening of federal Bureau of Land Management parcels to create "Time-Out Camps" for those who find the pace of Consensus Reality too stressful.
